Bush on energy independence. They have ground to a halt the permit process for everything from logging to drilling in America; even retracting many of Bush’s already approved permits for drilling. While supposedly opening the door for more nuclear energy, the Obama Department of Interior is closing nuclear waste dumps and denying permits to build more. All this while dumping billions of taxpayer dollars into inefficient, unreliable, yet ever so fashionable “Green Energy”.
Or poll after poll showing Americans don’t want Obamacare. Lets face it, Obama, your president, is tone deaf! He is lead not by conscience, morals, or a teachable character, but in stead by an unmovable Marxist Ideology. The only way to stop him is to remove him from office, but unfortunately that will have to wait. However, his followers may be less stubborn as he. Mark Warner and Jim Webb our self proclaimed “Fiscal Conservatives” “Blue Dog Democrats” have shown their true colors, flawlessly playing their game of “Simon Says” with Obama. But besides the fact that they are spineless there is one more fact you can rely on: They really want to keep their job!

Now is the time to act. If things continue the way they are going then we don’t have much time. Let’s hit the streets and knock on our neighbors door. Let’s get out petitions and information. Do whatever it takes to put the pressure on our Elected Officials. Don’t let the benefits and opportunities we enjoy be taken from our children and generations to come. Join the fight! As Chairman of the Franklin/Southampton Republican committee I invite you to our upcoming meeting, come see what you can do!

Meeting This Thursday the 11th of March

     Agenda- Fighting Obamacare
Where- Atop of Freds Restaurant in downtown Franklin

     Time- 7:00

Finger foods and drinks will be available

Barack Obama goes to the Mark Warner School of Math

With the help of a complicit media, along with former Senators (and former Republicans) Russ Potts and John Chichester, Governor Mark Warner, and later Governor Tim Kaine were able to spin the web of deceit that said that Jim Gilmore left the state budget in shambles.

Warner so craftily told that story that after four tries he finally ushered through and signed the largest tax increase in the history of the Commonwealth to deal with the massive budget “deficit.” Barely two weeks after Warner signed the bill, his Secretary of Finance announced that the Commonwealth would end the year with a budget surplus, roughly equivalent to the amount of the tax increase.
Claims to Have Hired "All Union Workers" in Right-to-Work Florida

Richmond, Virginia - Democratic candidate for governor Terry McAuliffe boasted in the final debate of the primary season that he had created jobs in Florida and hired all unionized workers in an apparent violation of that state's right-to-work law. Florida, Virginia and twenty other states have laws that prohibit compulsory union membership as a condition of employment. To require union membership as a prerequisite for a job would be discriminatory against non-union applicants.

"I've gone into states like Florida -- right-to-work," McAuliffe said yesterday in a debate hosted by the Washington Post and News Channel 8 at Northern Virginia Community College's Annandale campus."And hired all union workers."

Click here to watch the video.

Did McAuliffe violate Florida law and would he advocate the same in Virginia?

Florida's law reads, in part:

"The right of persons to work shall not be denied or abridged on account of membership or non-membership in any labor union or labor organization." (Florida Constitution, Article 1, Section 6)

Virginia's law reads, in part:

"It is hereby declared to be the public policy of Virginia that the right of persons to work shall not be denied or abridged on account of membership or non-membership in any labor union or labor organization." (Virginia Code, Section 40.1-58)

"Terry McAuliffe either doesn't know or doesn't care what the letter and spirit of right-to-work laws are if he brags about discriminating against non-union workers," said Republican Party of Virginia Chairman Pat Mullins. "Requiring all workers to be unionized is against the policy of Virginia and it is shocking that he would boast about breaking it. Our hard-working citizens and employers deserve to know: will Terry McAuliffe encourage the same kind of discriminatory hiring practices in Virginia he claims to have engaged in while in Florida?"

from RPV.org

Welcome

Welcome to my blog.
